The 15th EASN International Conference, which was held last October in the cultural city of Madrid, Spain, was a great success, gathering experts, researchers, and professionals from more than 35 countries to share their knowledge on the future of aviation and space. This year's conference, focused on “Innovation in Aviation & Space towards Sustainability Today and Tomorrow”, featured over 80 technical sessions & workshops, 4 keynote speeches, and 2 discussion panels, highlighting state-of-the-art research across a variety of topics and giving the opportunity for networking among academics, industry experts, and policy makers, fostering new collaborations and the exchange of creative ideas.
This year’s conference brought together more than 100 Aviation & Space Projects, validating the event’s role as the main dissemination hub for European research and innovation. Through dedicated presentations, sessions, and discussions, these projects shared key results, exchanged knowledge, and strengthened collaboration in the field.

In addition, more than 100 posters took part in the Poster Section & Competition, with the poster presentation entitled “Design, analysis and optimization of a vacuum insulated composite conformal LH2 tank”, by Bram Noordman, Bert de Wit, Ralf Creemers, Arne te Nijenhuis, Rens Ubels, Karthik Ramaswamy, Amit Kumar Tripathi, Paul Liddel, Jack Cullinan and Leonardo Lecce, winning this year’s Best Poster Award.
For the first time, a dedicated “Students & Young Researchers Networking Event” took place, offering approximately 100 students the chance to interact with 12 mentors, engage in valuable discussions, and participate in career-focused networking.

We warmly thank every presenter, panelist, and attendee for their valuable contributions and active involvement, which greatly contributed to the success of the conference.
