EASN supports this year the 8th International Conference of Engineering Against Failure (ICEAF VIII), which is jointly organized by the Laboratory of Technology & Strength of Materials of the Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics Department of the University of Patras, and the SINTEF Research Organization.
ICEAF VIII serves as a platform for presenting innovative research on failure analysis, structural health monitoring, and non-destructive testing across researchers and leading experts, allowing exploring a range of key fields, including aeronautics and space, automotive, marine, energy, civil engineering, and bioengineering. More information about the topics of the conference can be found here.
This year, the conference will take place at the Elite City Resort in the beautiful city of Kalamata, Greece, from 22-25 June 2025. Kalamata, the capital and central port of Messinia, is recognized for its natural beauty, and with the indented shores, sandy beaches, forested mountains, and fertile valleys, coexists with significant archaeological monuments. More information about the monuments and the city of Kalamata can be found here.

The final extension to the abstract submission deadline has already been granted and it is set for March 26, 2025. If you wish to present your work and research to the conference, this is the last chance to submit your abstract through the respective submission platform, which can be found here. In addition, the early-bird registration is still available. You can exploit the reduced fee rates until the 25th of April 2025 by registering here.
