ECARE (European Clean Aviation Regional Ecosystem) Successfully Concludes at the End of 2024!
The ECARE project has accomplished several significant and groundbreaking achievements that will contribute to the advancement and harmonization of the European aviation funding ecosystem. The ECARE consortium wrapped up the project by co-organizing a final event at the CA JU Headquarters on December 10, 2024.

The event, entitled “Joint Info Session on Funding Synergies and Networks c-organized by ECARE and CAJU with SESAR 3 JU”, served as an excellent platform to present ECARE’s final results, innovations, and recommendations. During this session, the ECARE team showcased its pioneering outcomes, including the newly developed ECARE Taxonomy, and the Handbook of Synergies. This handbook contains validated methodologies and recommendations for synergy creation, along with a comprehensive study of synergy mechanisms in the pilot regions of France, Germany, and Italy—designed for replication on a European scale.
Another equally significant achievement of the ECARE project is the ECARE Digital Platform, a one-stop portal for European aviation funding and projects. Presented during the event, the platform has already attracted over 300 active subscribers who are currently utilizing its resources. Explore the vast competitive advantages of joining the ECARE Digital Platform and discover the benefits it offers to funding bodies, clusters, and entities such as SMEs, large companies, RTOs, and universities.
Finally, the ECARE project has secured its future by signing three key Memoranda of Synergies with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP), and the Engage 2 SESAR 3 JU project. Additionally, the newly established Working Group on Synergies within EACP will further drive the implementation of the proposed synergy mechanisms and methodologies within the European aviation sector.
These strategic efforts ensure the sustainability and long-term impact of the ECARE project’s results.
