The ASTRAIOS (Analysis of Skills, Training, Research, and Innovation Opportunities in Space) Horizon Europe project continues to make significant strides in research, data collection, and workforce development. Over the past months, the project has expanded its outreach efforts and strengthened its impact on the European space sector.
A key recent milestone was the Bootcamp: Fostering Innovation & Leadership, co-hosted by ASTRAIOS and the ISU Incubator at the International Space University in Strasbourg. The three-day event focused on leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship, supporting early-career professionals in bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Looking ahead, ASTRAIOS is organizing a Roundtable on Workforce Development in the European Space Sector at the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit 2025. This session, led by our partners FDC (SpaceY), will bring together experts from academia, industry, and policy to explore skill gaps, workforce mobility, and future training needs. The discussion will focus on aligning education with industry demands and shaping actionable recommendations for EU policymakers.
