The focus of this review was to evaluate and drive progress towards the following:

  • Update on the progress of recommendations from the previous review
  • Strategic technical and financial plans leading to project completion
  • Progress made in the first four months of 2024

The ad-hoc annual review meeting featured open and constructive discussions, tackling key challenges and issues within the project. A highlight was EASA’s participation, marking the beginning of their collaboration with the HERA consortium.

Overall, it was concluded that the HERA consortium has efficient activity management, having successfully achieved most of the key objectives of the project.

Thomas Reichert (Fraunhofer) showcased and discussed the HERA poster while the HERA promo video captivated a wide-ranging audience during the ILA Berlin - Pioneering Aerospace event on June 5-9.
