Research in focus: EICACS scientific works at prestigious events this fall

EICACS continues to thrive in the scientific arena. Our partners are actively participating in conferences and events, exploiting these opportunities to disseminate knowledge generated within the project and to foster the dialogue with external stakeholders of the project's achievements.

  1. University of Patras presented the paper entitled "A Machine Learning-Type Signal Decomposition-Based Method for Vibration-Based Propeller Anomaly Diagnosis in Quadcopter UAVs under Operational Uncertainty" at the 2026 Leuven Conference on Noise and Vibration Engineering (ISMA2026) in Leuven, Belgium, on September 7-9.
  2. Dassault Aviation presented the "EICACS AI Ethics Lessons learnt 2026" at the EASA AI Days in Köln, on September 9-10, and at the French Military AI Normalization Committee CTND-IA in Paris, France.
  3. Dassault Aviation is presenting the paper and poster entitled "A Survey of Reinforcement Learning for Autonomous
Air Combat: Current Progresses and Limitations" at the 19th European Workshop on Reinforcement Learning (EWRL2026) in Lille, France, on October 5-7.

Progress update: Final Event in Paris next November

As EICACS approaches its official closure, the consortium prepares to gather in Paris, at Dassault Aviation premises, for its Final Event, with the participation of the Project Officer (on behalf of DG DEFIS) and representatives of the Member States.

The main goal is to reflect on the project's main achievements and technical status across all work packages, and highlight important lessons learnt that shall be considered for future research.

Stay tuned!
