EASN continues to build on strong collaboration with its National Contact Points (NCPs) to support regional research ecosystems in aerospace, fostering innovation and growth. By leveraging the expertise and resources of NCPs, EASN is able to facilitate knowledge exchange and networking opportunities for researchers and industry stakeholders in the aerospace sector.
Bringing the focus to Cyprus
The European Aerospace Science Network Association (EASN), represented through its National Contact Point in Cyprus (University of Cyprus) and their partners under the Horizon Europe project AM2C3 (Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Materials Competence Centre in Cyprus) —IMDEA Materials Institute (Spain), EMPA (Switzerland) and SINTEF (Norway)— are pleased to announce the Symposium on "Metal Additive Manufacturing: Materials, Processing and Applications," taking place on 19–20 April 2027 at the University of Cyprus, Nicosia.
The Symposium will bring together researchers, industry and policymakers to discuss advances in powder processing, laser powder bed fusion, post-processing, characterisation, qualification and high-value aerospace applications of metal AM.
