Unlocking the Future of Engineering Design

At the NAFEMS World Congress 2025, Hunor Etele Erdélyi from Siemens Digital Industries Software presented groundbreaking work on Distributed Multi-disciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) of Complex Engineering Systems within the framework of the HERA project. This innovative approach redefines collaborative, high-fidelity engineering design enabling optimization across disciplines, domains, and teams—paving the way for unprecedented levels of performance and innovation. 

The presentation highlights how distributed MDO methodologies can transform the design process for complex systems, fostering efficiency and integration in an increasingly interconnected engineering landscape. Available here.
