Europe’s aerospace innovation takes flight in Toulouse: Announcing the 16th EASN International Conference - 2026 Edition

We are delighted to welcome you to the 16th EASN International Conference, a milestone gathering centered on "Innovation in Aviation & Space towards sustainability today and tomorrow", proudly co-organized by the EASN Association and the Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (ISAE). Next year’s edition brings us from 27 to 30 of October, 2026, to the dynamic city of Toulouse, France—the European capital of aerospace research and innovation and an ecosystem widely recognized for shaping the future of aeronautics and space technologies.

Over the years, the EASN Conference Series has evolved into one of Europe’s leading platforms for knowledge exchange within the aerospace sector. It unites distinguished representatives from academia, industry, research organizations, and policymaking bodies, forming a powerful community committed to developing transformative innovations for tomorrow’s aerospace landscape.

The conference also stands as the major dissemination hub for cutting-edge EU-funded research, offering a unique forum where European projects achieve wide visibility, key scientific and technological breakthroughs are shared, and innovative outcomes move closer to real-world exploitation. This dialogue amplifies the impact of European research and fosters cross-sector synergies essential for the competitiveness and sustainability of the field.

Across the week, participants will engage in a rich agenda shaped to inspire, challenge, and connect:

  • Plenary sessions, combining keynote speeches and high-level discussion panels, where prominent experts from across Europe share insights and debate the most pressing industry, research, and policy trends.
  • Oral and poster presentations, providing a stage for cutting-edge research, disruptive innovations, and the latest results from European collaborative projects.
  • Networking opportunities, interwoven throughout the program to stimulate new partnerships, strengthen ongoing collaborations, and encourage knowledge flow across generations and disciplines.

We are particularly excited to build on the momentum of Madrid’s 15th edition, where a dedicated networking event for the new generation of engineers stood out as a remarkable highlight—a legacy we are committed to advancing in Toulouse with renewed ambition and expanded opportunities.

We look forward to welcoming you to Toulouse next October, a city that embodies scientific excellence, industrial impact, and pioneering spirit. This will be a remarkable opportunity to bring academia, industry, and aerospace-focused SMEs closer together, enabling stronger collaboration and facilitating new partnerships.

Together, let’s amplify European research achievements, spark new collaborations, and shape the future of aviation and space for a sustainable and innovative tomorrow.

Warm regards,

The Conference Chairmen

Prof. Emmanuel Bénard | ISAE-SUPAERO
Prof. Spiros Pantelakis | University of Patras | Honorary Chairman of EASN Association
