European Initiative for Collaborative Air Combat Standardization (EICACS) is a novel project, co-funded by the European Union, that aims to enable collaborative air combat standardization by ensuring the interoperability of heterogeneous assets and a seamless integration of future air combat systems. The EICACS consortium gathers industry leaders, institutions, universities, midcaps, and SMEs from 11 EU countries.
Technical Progress Meeting
EICACS recently held a productive technical progress meeting, reflecting on past achievements and planning future activities. This meeting, at the prestigious Dassault Aviation premises in Saint-Cloud, France, from February 29th to March 1st, 2024, emphasized the project's ongoing commitment to integrating complex AI systems into aerospace operations.
Representatives from all EICACS project partners convened in a spirit of unity and innovation, showcasing the remarkable technical advancements we've collectively achieved. The meeting was honored by the esteemed presence of the EC's Project Officer and distinguished representatives from EU Member States, emphasizing the significance of our collaborative efforts in European Defence.
Upcoming dissemination activities
EICACS is setting the pace for innovation in military aviation systems through its active participation in international conferences and events.
- 43rd AIAA/IEEE Digital Avionics Systems Conference (DASC 2024): EICACS will make a significant appearance at DASC 2024 in San Diego, California. Partners from IABG will be on hand to present pivotal research on "Artificial Intelligence Verification Based on Operational Design Domain (ODD) Characterizations Utilizing Subset Simulation."
- International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems (AAMAS 2024): Our partners from Dassault Aviation will showcase their work entitled "Samples Sharing and Prioritization in Multi-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning", discussing advanced AI methodologies to enhance multi-agent systems, a critical area for autonomous aerospace applications.
